Maggs is no stranger to the world of video games, as she has worked on Anthem, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Call of Duty: Vanguard, and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. She was also part of the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake that has been reportedly paused indefinitely, but she quit after around nine months.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was officially announced at Star Wars Celebration 2022, and it showed Cal Kestis without his allies and possibly his lightsaber as it looks to have fallen into the hands of the Empire. It was also revealed that Survivor takes place five years after Fallen
