Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars Will Feature New Cal Kestis Story
The world of is expanding, as Lucasfilm announced two new novels that will tie into the video game series, expanding the story of Cal Kestis.
The first novel,, is written by Sam Maggs and tells the story of Cal Kestis as he leads the crew of the Mantis on a brand-new adventure. It is set to release on March 7, 2023. According to Lucasfilm, this novel will be set in between the video game and the highly anticipated upcoming sequel, .
The second novel,, is published by Dark Horse and acts more as a tie-in to the upcoming sequel than a new story altogether. This novel will chronicle the development of the upcoming game and collect concept art and creator commentary. The book will be presented in an oversized, full-color hardcover when it releases on May 2, 2023.
