Cal Kestis might be up for another adventure after Star Wars Jedi: Survivor as its director has teased plans for a third and final game.
In an interview with IGN, the director of Jedi: Survivor, Stig Asmussen, discussed how Respawn Entertainment broached the story of the first game with Lucasfilm. He said “breaking this story with Lucasfilm, it’s like: ‘Well, where are we going with the second game?’” The first game in the series Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was released back in 2019, so he is talking about Jedi: Survivor here.
He goes on to say, “I always wanted to see this as a trilogy. How can we take Cal and the crew to new places beyond what we were doing in the first game?” Therefore, the assumption is that if Star Wars Jedi: Survivor sells well, most likely as good or better than the original game, we will be getting a third game in the series.

But, it also means that Cal will most likely be making it through Jedi: Survivor, although we will still probably die many times.
They could always make the third game follow a different playable character, as many fans want to play as Merrin the Nightsister. However, it does seem like a safe bet that Cal will live, which might take some of the punch away from Jedi: Survivor’s story. What are they going to do, have him lose a hand? They better not kill BD-1.
