Last year, EA cut support for Star Wars: Battlefront 2 - no more updates and no new content. Despite leaks and plans, the game finally came to a close. But now, nearly a year later, a new bug has cropped up that's making players invincible. DICE promises a fix is coming.
If you're playing multiplayer on PC, you might've run into a match where nobody can die. The bug means that everybody gets stuck at 1HP, essentially rendering them invincible. This leads to stalemates, timeouts, and players quitting matches en masse. It's not ideal when you just want to buddy up with some fellow clone troopers to take on Count Dooku in his sparkly PJs.

"However, progress was made towards getting a fix in place. It will be fixed and we'll keep you all updated when they can do so" (thanks, IGN).
No timeline was given, so it's not entirely clear when you can expect the game-breaking bug to be ironed out. For now, you're best playing co-op or the campaign, sticking to modes that aren't as multiplayer-intensive.
As for what's causing this bug, it's evidently not an update. Some believe it comes from a spike in hackers after support ended. On Reddit, a few users claimed the 1HP issue is something they've seen for years now, but it wasn't common because it's a hack. Others linked to a site that has allegedly released the hack for free which
