Those who are enjoying Star Wars Disney Plus series The Book of Boba Fett might have some more content from the same universe in the not-too-distant future. A new leak indicates that one of the next upcoming Disney Plus series, Star Wars: Ahsoka, could start filming by the end of January.
Disney Plus has gone all-in on Star Wars live-action content over the last few years, first with The Mandalorian and then The Book of Boba Fett. The next series that could be hitting the streaming service relatively soon is Ahsoka, though there are some complications and questions surrounding the series and when it might actually air.

Nailing down exactly when the series centering around the character first introduced to Star Wars fans in the Clone Wars will premiere becomes even more difficult because of the coronavirus pandemic. A report circulating on Reddit from Production Weekly claims that the Ahsoka series is going to be going into production later this month. While Production Weekly is usually considered by those in the fan base to be pretty reliable on this kind of information, there are some who wonder whether the schedule might change because of the rise of the Omicron variant.
The same report from Production Weekly said that while production on Ahsoka could be ahead of what people thought was the schedule, there's another series that's just about wrapped season 3.
