These figures come from the official yearly overview press release published by the Epic Games Store, indicating substantial growth for Epic Games' most prominent business venture yet, outside of Fortnite. According to Epic Games' retrospective of 2021, its concurrent user data peaked at 13.2 million players using the service simultaneously, which further underlines how far the store has gotten since its release.

This practice is set to continue, as Epic Games Store will keep giving away games through 2022.
