“Batman Arkham Collection” has been listed for release on Nintendo Switch by a French retail site.
According to French retailer WTT, the game will cost €59.99 and currently holds a placeholder release date of August 31, 2022.
WTT previously listed the Switch port of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt before its announcement, potentially lending legitimacy to the Batman listing.
Arkham Collection was released for other consoles and PC in 2018 and includes Rocksteady’s three Arkham games Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Knight.
Arkham City, which appeared on Wii U, was the only Rocksteady Batman title to release for a Nintendo console.
Warner Bros.’ next title in the Arkham-verse Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League has reportedly been delayed to 2023 according to Bloomberg sources said to be familiar with its development.
Developed by Batman: Arkham series creator Rocksteady Studios, the PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC game is billed as a “genre-bending action-adventure shooter” set in an open-world Metropolis.
Playable solo or with up to four players in online co-op, its original story follows Suicide Squad members Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark, who are on a mission to save Earth and kill the world’s greatest DC Super Heroes, The Justice League.
Suicide Squad was announced alongside Gotham Knights at 2020’s DC Fandome event and its first gameplay trailer was released in December.
It has been speculated that Warner Bros other big title, Hogwarts Legacy, could release in September.
