The latest update for Star Trek Online features several of the original cast members from the Star Trek: Voyager, Discovery, and Deep Space Nine TV series. The MMORPG has been continuously updated since its launch back in 2010, with plenty of new stories and content for its fans to enjoy, and is considered one of the best free-to-play MMOs on the market.
Star Trek Online takes place in the 25th century, 30 years after the events of the Star Trek: Nemesis film and about 10 years after the recent Star Trek: Picard series, and sees players commanding a variety of crews in a variety of explorable locations taken from Star Trek's vast lore. These crews can be Starfleet, Romulan, Klingon, or Jem'Hadar, and players can band together to form fleets of 500 players, with 13 fleets forming an Armada, which can share passive bonuses and resources. Over the years players have been able to enjoy the game's main episodic missions, a variety of side missions, and regularly added bonus "Seasons" that have featured guest appearances from characters across a variety of Star Trek media, and the latest major season update, Stormfall, brought two new episodes, Blue Shift, andThe Calling to the title.

As shared by Star Trek Online on Twitter, the new episodes in the Stormfall update feature the return of many of the original cast members from across a variety of Star Trek shows.
