One of Spider-Man's greatest victories is a fight his fellow heroes don't remember, as the web-slinger's defeat of Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet is only known by him. In Avengers & The Infinity Gauntlet #4 from Marvel Comics, which retold the classic The Infinity Gauntlet saga but with a humorous twist, Spider-Man manages to take down Thanos. But, when he snaps the gauntlet and restores those who were originally snapped away, nobody remembers his heroic action in saving the universe.
The Infinity Gauntlet by Jim Starlin, George Perez, and Ron Lim is one of Marvel Comics' most popular and influential stories, as Thanos' quest to win Death's affection by snapping half of life in the universe from existence has proven to be a timeless classic. The story, which saw Earth's Mightiest Heroes that weren't snapped away by the supervillains' use of the Infinity Gauntlet take a final stand against the cosmic juggernaut, is incredibly epic as it made Thanos Marvel's ultimate villain. The comic was adapted in the Infinity Saga in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where the Avengers dealt with a similar snap after the Mad Titan acquired all of the Infinity Stones.

Avengers & The Infinity Gauntlet by Brian Clevinger, Lee Black, Brian Churilla, Terry Pallot, Sandu Florea, Michelle Madsen, and Clayton Cowles from Marvel Comics took on the iconic Infinity Gauntlet storyline starring Thanos but in a much more lighthearted and funny way.
