Marvel’s Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales have been some of the best games about Marvel’s web slinger, providing an interesting stories packed with great bosses, fun combat, and thrilling traversal. With Spider-Man 2 announcing that Venom will feature alongside Kraven The Hunter, many fans are hoping that the game will allow them to play as the symbiote as well as the two Spider-Men. If this is the case, Insomniac should borrow a key feature from the super popular GTA 5 to make exploring the world more interesting.
GTA 5 has become one of the most successful games of all time, and while the online game mode is what gave the game its longevity, the single-player mode introduced a unique feature that allowed players to quickly switch between the three main characters. This feature could be adopted by the upcoming Spider-Man game to allow players to switch between Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and Venom as they battle through New York and attempt to defeat Kraven The Hunter. While Venom has not been confirmed as a playable character, there have been other Spider-Man games, like Ultimate Spider-Man, that gave the players control of Venom.
