Sony has finally shared a look at the PSVR 2 featuring its finger-tracking controllers and sleek white design, matching the current-gen PS5.
"Our goal is to create a headset that will not only become an attractive part of your living room decor, but will also keep you immersed in your game world, to the point where you almost forget you are using a headset or controller," PlayStation wrote in its blog post. "That's why we paid very close attention to the ergonomics of the headset and conducted extensive testing to ensure a comfortable feel for a variety of head sizes."

The new headset has a lens adjustment dial, so you can alter the distance from your eyes, while it is lighter despite the built-in motor, making it more comfortable to use. The PSVR 2 also has a new vent design that lets air out so that the lens' don't fog up when players are "immersed in their VR games."
What's more, the new headset supports 4K HDR, headset feedback, and only uses one cord. You'll have to wait a little longer to get your hands on one, but they're already out in the hands of game developers who are creating new experiences ready for its launch.
The controllers, which we also get a look at in the embedded tweet above, feature finger-tracking technology similar to the Valve Index as well as haptic feedback and adaptive triggers like the PS5's Dualsense controllers.
