Assembling a Time Bomb involves gathering rarer materials like Wire and Circuit Boards. Wire is typically found in storage containers or bunkers, particularly in a small cave west of the snow-capped mountains, and south of the island's dividing river.

This cave leads to a room containing a desk, laptop, and 3D Printer. Circuit Boards are found within electronic devices, again found in storage areas, tents, or cannibal camps. You can obtain them by smashing radios or laptops using a Tactical Axe.

Alternatively, you can discover powerful weapons that don't require crafting at all. A great find is the Pistol, found near the island's northwestern shore by a beach cove. Look for an orange raft bobbing in the water, reachable by a short swim, but be wary of sharks lurking in its vicinity.
