Actor Charlie Hunnam has teased there may be more to come for his Sons of Anarchy character, Jax Teller. Speaking to the Associated Press, Hunnam said the door remains open for him to appear in another Sons of Anarchy project someday, but how that could happen remains to be seen considering Jax died in the Sons of Anarchy season finale in 2014.
«You never know. What I know is that group of actors remain my dear friends. There is an energy still circulating that project that is enticing. Hopefully more to come,» he said.

Before this, Hunnam told Access Hollywood that he is «exploring» an idea for how to play Jax again, but he's only in «the infancy of exploring the viability of the idea.»
Jax died in the final episode of Sons of Anarchy by driving his motorcycle into an oncoming 18-wheeler--his death was pretty definitive. Jax's death also served as a narrative thread for the spinoff show, Mayans M.C., which took place after the events of Sons of Anarchy and dealt with Jax's death.
Fans have suggested a number of possibilities for how Jax could show up again in the Sons of Anarchy universe, like a flashback in the next season of Mayans M.C., but nothing is confirmed yet. Mayans M.C. was renewed for a fifth season which is expected to arrive on FX in 2023.
