Sonic 3’s First Reactions Call It the Best in the Trilogy
The to have finally arrived and critics are only lauding the movie and the star cast involved. Directed by Jeff Fowler, is one of the most-anticipated movies of the year and will be released in theaters on December 20. This Paramount Pictures production is the third installment of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.
With Sonic the Hedgehog 3 just a week away from its release, critics have given their first reviews for the movie. Following the UK premiere of the Jim Carrey film, here is what critics are saying in their first reactions to the movie.
Chris Killian of ComicBook.com praised Keanu Reeves’ performance, describing it as “moving.” He also highlighted the film’s emotional third act, saying it “might make Sonic fans a little weepy-eyed.”

In his review, the host of The Movie Podcast, Anthony Gagliardi called Sonic 3 “the best adventure in the franchise yet.” He praised Reeves’ Shadow and wrote, “Shadow is UNSTOPPABLE on the big screen, while Sonic and friends bring a lot of heart and laughs.”
