Something for the Weekend – 05/08/23
F1 has reached its summer break, the Ashes are over and the weather has been decidedly unsummer-y, but on the bright side, Gamescom is now only a fortnight away, and Baldur’s Gate 3 just came out on PC!
It might be a little while before our Baldur’s Gate 3 review is ready – it’s such a big game – but here’s this week’s handful of features.
From the previews, Stefan kept out the riff-raff in Techno Banter as he assumed the role of a bouncer for an “underground rave club in the heart of a dystopian city’s night life”. He then stepped up the tempo with Apex Legends: Resurrection and a look at what Season 18 will bring us, including new abilities for Revenant.
Elsewhere, Dom started up the hype train for the Switch 2, sharing some of his… more unreasonable expectations, while What We Played featured Thronefall, Pokémon Go & Baldur’s Gate 3.
