In years gone by, this would be the relative calm before the storm of an E3, but as we head into the faux-E3 season next week with press conferences and streams galore, it’s this that is easily one of the biggest weeks of the year for gamers, thanks to the release of Diablo IV and Street Fighter 6.
Are you playing either of these two titans this weekend? Well, since you’re already here, why not quickly catch up on the week that was?
We’re only just getting started in our adventure through Diablo IV, but if you’re keen to find out how Street Fighter 6 has come together, then we can tell you that it’s ruddy brilliant!
And we had a couple hardware reviews as well:
We had a healthy crop of previews this week, starting off with the latest genre mashup in the SteamWorld series, the city builder mining game SteamWorld Build. I also got to hands on with the Ancient Egyptian warfare of Total War: Pharaoh, which tasks you with trying to survive or make the most of the Bronze Age Collapse.
Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is crafting the first CRPG in the 40K universe, while we also delved into the WWI psychological horror of Ad Infinitum.
Rounding things out for the week, What We Played featured Street Fighter 6, System Shock and Tears of the Kingdom
The first trailer for Silent Hill: Ascension has dropped, out this year
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is coming to PC in July
Demeo Battles gets first PvP gameplay trailer
Here’s what you in our community have been up to this week:
Have a good weekend and I’ll catch you all soon!
