Snoop Dogg Joins Esports Organization FaZe Clan
In an amazing win for the esports industry, the Los Angeles-based FaZe Clan has now added California legend Snoop Dogg to its entertainment organization. A certified Renaissance man, the massively-successful rapper, actor and entrepreneur is well-known for his keen interest in the video game industry. While FaZe Clan let anyone join for a day back in August 2021, the Doggfather's introduction to the competitive organization is a much more long-term gig.
Snoop Dogg's skills as a rapper and songwriter have led to worldwide success, and his status as a pop culture icon has opened the door to numerous video game appearances. Whenever he takes a break from recording hits like «The Next Episode» and «Drop It Like It's Hot,» Snoop lends his voice as a commentator for titles like Call of Duty: Ghosts and UFC3. A post from FaZe Clan reveals that Snoop, under his new alias FaZe Snoop, will join the organization's board of directors once it officially goes public in spring 2022.
