The makers of Skywind, the community project that’s remaking The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind as a total conversion Skyrim mod, are hosting a beauty contest. An Argonian beauty contest, to be specific, and no, it’s not to see who will play the role of the Lusty Argonian Maid.
"Would you like your character's face in Skywind? An Argonian character designed by YOU will be heading to Vvardenfell to feature in the game," reads the announcement on the Skywind subreddit. "We’re keeping the specific character from Morrowind secret for now – hopefully nobody will guess – so you have full creative freedom in your submission."

Entering this beauty contest is simple. All you have to do is create an Argonian character in Skyrim's vanilla character creator, which comes up just before your head goes on the chopping block in Helgen. Take screenshots of the final product and then send your new Argonian's save file to the Skywind group via this link. Be sure to focus mostly on headshots, and also be sure to remove any mods you might have installed--these have to be vanilla save files.
The finalists will be announced on Skywind's Discord server on March 18, with the community voting by reaction emojis. The lucky winner will be announced on April 1 (which is certainly going to be relevant). The winner not only gets their character showcased as an NPC in Skywind, but they'll also get a special commemorative plaque.
The Skywind group reserves the right to veto any contestants that "don't fit the Skywind game world or that contain character mods." I know we all have at least three dozen Skyrim mods installed by now, but seriously, these need to be vanilla characters.
