An amusing glitch in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim allowed a deer to achieve its unrealized dreams of being a gymnast in its dying moments when it did a backflip after being struck by a spell. Skyrim is a popular fantasy role-playing game that has retained a loyal fanbase since its release in 2011. Although the game has been out for over a decade, its immersive gameplay, as well as the release of the Special and Anniversary editions of the game has kept Skyrim fresh for lovers of the franchise, especially in combination with the usage of mods.
Skyrim is the very definition of an open-world game, in which players can explore the far reaches of the continent of Tamriel, delve into dungeons and tombs in search of treasure, and fight dragons as they search for answers about the nature of the Dragonborn. However grand the storyline of the game may be though, there is no leash keeping players on their path, and the game provides countless distractions for Skryim's Dragonborn to pursue instead.

Yet another of these glitches has surfaced recently with Skyrim fan Daftfunkster sharing a video on Reddit of a deer throwing itself head-over-hooves when it was slain by the player. The deer was struck from behind and killed by a lightning spell before freezing in place for a brief moment and then slowly somersaulting backward over its own tail and landing on the ground in a heap. There is little to be said for the benefit of the deer in this situation, but at least its end was swift.
