Going out at night in Dying Light 2 is normally incredibly risky, as Villedor becomes a lot more dangerous when the sun sets. However, one Dying Light 2 player recently encountered a glitch that made the game's nighttime chase sequence a whole lot more bearable.
Many players seem to be enjoying the freedom and excellent traversal options available in Dying Light 2, however, the game has had its fair share of glitches a week into its launch. While some of these glitches and bugs have been game-breaking, the most recent glitch a player has found is far more harmless. One Dying Light 2 player entered a nighttime chase sequence while it was still daytime in-game, which made the experience far less bothersome.

The worst the glitch can do is break a player's immersion, but this too is not an issue as it only occurs when a player has the crafting menu open for too long. The glitch can also be fixed if the player sleeps or dies.
If players want to make nighttime even more difficult in the game, a fan has created a mod called Extreme Nights for Dying Light 2. The mod doubles the length of nighttime and halves the length of daytime, increases the density of zombies significantly, and also spawns more zombies when a chase sequence is triggered. This will increase the difficulty for those seeking a challenge, as moving around Villedor with the mod activated will no longer be a straightforward task.
