The world of Grand Theft Auto is a pretty crazy place, and now a police officer has taken things to a whole other level by arresting a dog for speeding. Rocksteady’s open-world crime franchise has seen its fair share of crazy hijinks over the years, from thrilling bank heists to drug-fueled GTA alien hallucinations. However, it seems that the wildest occurrences are the ones fueled by the players themselves outside of GTA’s many story missions or side quests.
This is especially true in Grand Theft Auto 5’s multiplayer component Grand Theft Auto Online, which sets aside the tale of Michael, Trevor, and Franklin in favor of letting players run wild throughout the wide-open sandbox of Los Santos. Said players have pulled off all kinds of wild, death-defying stunts in GTA Online, from stealing jetplanes out of the sky to landing their cars perfectly on a bridge after jackknifing off of a nearby cliff. Glitches and unexpected AI behavior have also led to some memorably crazy moments in both Grand Theft Auto 5 and GTA Online, such as Trevor being yanked into the sky by an invisible helicopter or NPCs suddenly hijacking a GTA 5 player’s motorbike without warning.

Not even the cops are immune to wild glitches in Grand Theft Auto, as demonstrated by a recent GIF posted to Reddit by a user by the handle of headofthehotrain. In this brief clip, a police officer is chasing down a speeding vehicle, eventually blockading the mysterious black van and forcing it to halt. However, when the cop opens the door to arrest the offending driver, it turns out to be some kind of bizarre dog/human hybrid creature — which morphs into a regular canine as soon as it is pulled out
