The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim presents players with a wide variety of challenges, some of which are more intentional than others. The game is well known for its timeless mechanics and complex, sprawling world, but it's also notorious for its bugs. Recently, one Skyrim player ran afoul of a very bug when they accidentally landed on a dragonfly.
Apparently, a number of the insects that can be found in Skyrim have hitboxes. Some players have taken advantage of this to shoot down beehives, but solitary dragonflies can be harder to notice. One player managed to accidentally jump on top of one without realizing it was there until it was too late to leap off.

The video shows the player standing on top of the unseen insect for several seconds as the dragonfly soars across the game world.
After about six seconds of surprisingly peaceful flight, the player abruptly falls from the dragonfly's back. Although it's difficult to tell what the dragonfly was doing through all of this due to its small size, the fall is far enough that the player is killed instantly. Apparently, this incident occurred because insects in Skyrim have hitboxes, which can lead to hilarious encounters with players and other in-game items. Reportedly, bees also have hitboxes, which has led to some issues with carriages running into individual bees and causing their programming to get confused.
