New Skyblivion gameplay footage was shared online, providing a new look at the mod, which will attempt to remake the fourth entry in The Elder Scrolls series using Skyrim's engine.
The new footage, which can be watched below, showcases a big part of the map and multiple quests set in the shown areas that seem to have been recreated quite faithfully from the original. Hopefully, the rest of the project will feature the same level of quality as the sequences shown in the new footage.
Skyblivion has been in development for quite some time, but thankfully the wait won't be much longer as the total conversion mod is still targeting a 2025 release. Once it launches, players will be able to experience the entirety of Oblivion like they never did before with both Skyrim Legacy Edition and Skyrim Special Edition, with reimagined and improved cities, homes, caves, dungeons, and forts across Cyrodiil with new and improved layouts and encounters, new creatures and monsters featuring lore-friendly additions from the rest of the series, new loading screens, class cards, attribute art and much more.
More information on Skyblivion can be found on its official website. As mentioned above, the mod is scheduled for a 2025 release.
