Sifu will be released for Xbox consoles and made available on Steam on March 28, developer and publisher Sloclap has confirmed.
The latest game from the French indie studio behind Absolver, Sifu was originally released for PS4, PS5 and PC via the Epic Games Store last February, before coming to Nintendo Switch in November.
The game’s Xbox and Steam release will coincide with the launch of a new Arenas expansion, which will be available as a free update for all platforms and is viewable in the trailer below.

“With 9 new locations and 45 merciless challenges spread over 5 game modes, the Arenas Expansion is packing up to 10 extra hours of gameplay into the already demanding title,” according to Sloclap.
“Masters of Kung Fu will be pushed to their limits as waves of enemies crash upon them in Survival mode, or pushed to perfection in the Performance mode. With Time Attack, players can also battle against the clock on a path filled with enemies.
“Sifus looking for a twist on the game’s impactful combat can try the new Capture mode – where players must take and hold a marked area – or Manhunt mode, where a specific target surrounded by protectors must be taken down.”
“Sifu is a master of hand-to-hand combat, injecting its kung-fu showdowns with exhilarating fluidity, tactical depth and cinematic scale,” according to VGC’s Sifu review.
“Its structure is harder to fully embrace, though, as it demands a lot of repetitious dedication to even reach the final stages. At times that feels needlessly punishing, but the thrill of the fight should help pull you through.”
