The OG of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Shereé Whitfield, has finally returned for season 14, and she recently shared her reservations about coming back to the show. When fans first saw Shereé inRHOA season 1, she was navigating her life after divorce from her ex-husband Bob Whitfield while raising her children Tierra, Kairo, and Kaleigh. Shereé soon became a household name with her memorable line, “Who gon’ check me boo?” and the famous divorce party from season 2.
After RHOA season 4, Shereé decided to leave the show, stating that she was tired of the fighting and cattiness among the cast members. The She by Shereé designer came back as a “friend of” in RHOA season 8 and returned as a full cast member for seasons 9 and 10 but decided to leave the show again, citing a“low ball” offer from Bravo as the reason. Shereé also shared that she wanted to focus more time on her businesses and family.

Shereé made her return yet again for RHOA season 14 and recently shared on Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef that she felt that it was a good time for her “mentally, physically, and emotionally,” to come back. However, she did have some trepidation going in and revealed, “When I talked to the higher-ups, that was something that I voiced to them that I’m not really interested in, you know, going back to something that was so draining, so negative…it’s just very toxic.” Shereé told the Bravo executives that she wanted RHOA to go back to the original concept of strong-minded women who speak their minds but also enjoy each others’ company.
