A new version of the ShadPS4 PlayStation 4 emulator is now available for download, introducing a lot of improvements over the previous version.
Version 0.3.0 introduces cheating and patching, DLC, 26 more languages, additional controllers (DualShock and Xbox controllers), trophies support, GUI improvements, and much more. As a result of the many changes introduced in this new version of the emulator, old save files may no longer be compatible. A guide is available on the emulator's official Discord server on how to migrate and save files created with the previous version of the emulator without losing any progress.
The ShadPS4 emulator has been making incredible progress in the past few months, going from being able to play only simple 2D games such as Sonic Mania and barely booting up more complex titles to making Bloodborne playable on PC. These emulation improvements have also allowed modders like fromsoftserve to work mods that improve the game's visuals and even unofficial remastering projects that will breathe new life into the haunting city of Yarnham.
More information on the ShadPS4 PlayStation 4 emulator can be found on its official website. The new version of the emulator can be downloaded right now for free from GitHub.
