A constant stream of Sea of Thieves updates and events have become synonymous with the game, and soon a new event is coming that will once again add more content for players to experience. The event was just revealed by a cinematic that was posted alongside a large preview event detailing updates coming to the game.
Sea of Thieves is Shutting Down its Arena PVP Mode
The title of the event is The Shrouded Islands, and based on the cinematic's content the event will center around Captain Flameheart, who is one of the main antagonists of Sea of Thieves' overarching story, as well as the Pirate Lord Ramsey and longtime mysterious character Belle. The start date for the event is February 17, and it will continue until its conclusion on March 3.
Though the comments adored the character Wonda playing around with Shelly the crab, Belle is perhaps the most interesting reveal in the cinematic as pretty much nothing is known about the character. What players do know is that she is important, as evidenced by the developers referencing her occasionally.
