The team was on hand at San Diego Comic-Con to discuss the game, revealing Clancy Brown in the lead villain role and the sheer scope of the title. Centering around the fallout of the evil Eddy Funko enacting a plan to corrupt all the other Funkos, players will be tasked with taking control of iconic characters from across film, animation, and gaming to help save the day.
Befitting that kind of premise, players will be able to take control of characters from over twenty different fan-favorite franchises. will combine the likes of and alongside the heroes of and the animatronic monsters of. It'll even be the game debut of some titles, like Jordan Peele's.

During San Diego Comic-Con,got the chance to sit down with 10:10 Games Design Director and Head of Publishing Arthur Parsons and voice actor Kellen Goff about bringing Freddy Fazbear to the crossover, the unifying threat of the game's villain, and the teasing that still haven't been revealed.
Screen Rant: Arthur, what makes something like the right fit for ?
Arthur Parsons: The whole purpose of was to bring fandoms together. Everyone likes different stuff. We're all nerds, we're all geeks. We all like TV shows, movies, comics, you name it. But everyone likes different stuff. When we sat out on the journey with, we were looking at it going, 'We have to try and find a space where we can bring people to play together that like different stuff.'
We looked at all the NBC Universal properties and then we kind of went a bit crazy. There's over 20 IP [in the game]. We've got things from back in the seventies all the way right through today. The IP mix is amazing. It was basically us picking what we were fans of, whether it's, whether it's, whether it's, whether it's,, — you name it.
