Heroic Week Tuning
- They do look at Heroic week data in order to tune their game. They don’t want to massively upset the meta too much since some people have prepared 5-15 characters and others have geared up certain characters. The goal when tuning is to slightly nerf things they are overperforming and not much more than that.
- It is planned to do tuning before Heroic and Mythic week.
Mythic Raiding
- There is a wide range of players in Mythic raiding. That is why sometimes after RWF kills a boss they nerf bosses right away.
- This time they plan to use the severed strand buff so they don’t need to nerf bosses as much.
Mythic+ Stop Meta
- The stops change was not just about emphasizing kicks but also about emphasizing deliberate play and strategy on how you pull the dungeon.
- They want to slow down the Zerg every pack meta, group it all up and AoE it down meta. You should have to choose what you can and can’t pull based on available kicks.
- A lot of people do like big pulls, but if the progression of gameplay is bigger and bigger pulls, it forces a specific group comp and the diversity between dungeons is limited and things are repetitive.
Priest Interrupt
- No direct comment on if Priest getting interrupt.
Mythic+ Different Meta
- One thing that they are trying to accomplish is that season over season the meta feels at least a little different
Delve Tuning
- Delves balancing draws from previous experiments. They do have tools to make it easier/harder for each spec
- DPS defensives has been a bit of an arms race with more defensive tools coming in
