Scarlett Johansson's First Black Widow Suit Fitting Shown In New Image
A new image reveals the first time Scarlett Johansson tried on her suit for Black Widow. First introduced back in Iron Man 2, Johansson's Black Widow/ Natasha Romanoff would go on to become a core member of the Avengers team. After playing important roles in all of the Avengers films, Black Widow ultimately sacrificed herself in Avengers: Endgame so that Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye could obtain the Soul Stone in an effort to reverse Thanos' snap and restore the portion of the population that had been blipped.
While Black Widow didn't make it through Avengers: Endgame alive, the character did appear in her very own standalone film in 2021, which was set right after the events of Captain America: Civil War. After years of teases regarding the character's past, Black Widow finally delves more into Natasha's upbringing and even introduces a number of her family members, including fan-favorite Yelena Belova played by Florence Pugh. Black Widow was met with generally positive reviews, but because of its simultaneous release in theaters and on Disney+ due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the film's box office did take a hit.

In a new image posted to Instagram from Black Widow costume designer Jany Temime, Johansson can be seen trying on her suit for the film for the very first time. The caption accompanying the photo reads: "First fitting of Scarlett in the Black Widow costume. Brilliant, powerful, beautiful. She is gorgeous!" Check out the image below:
