Ziplines are one of the early game tools in Satisfactory that can help players get around much easier. Only a few resources are needed to make a Zipline, but Power Lines also need to be crafted to use the tool. Luckily, the Power Lines don't need to actually have power, and the Zipline can be used to ride across or transfer between them.
Before crafting and using a Zipline, players will need to unlock the tool by completing some of the Caterium Research tree at the Molecular Analysis Machine, which can be unlocked in Satisfactory at Tier One. The Zipline is the fifth branch in the Caterium Research tree, and players will need to donate 50 Cables and 100 Quickwires to unlock the crafting recipe. Quickwire and Cable will already be unlocked when the Zipline recipe is accessible.

It's recommended that players collect more than what's needed because both Cables and Quickwires are also required to craft a Zipline after unlocking the recipe.
The recipe for crafting a Zipline requires 30 Quickwires, 10 Cables, three Iron Rods, and one Xeno-Zapper. Iron Rods can be obtained by collecting some of the Iron Ore resource in Satisfactory and turning them into Iron Ingots. Players are given a Xeno-Zapper as a melee weapon after exiting the drop pod, but more can be crafted using 10 Iron Rods, 15 Cables, 50 Wires, and two Reinforced Iron Plates. Once the necessary
