Steamforged Games has announced a partnership with developer Jagex to bring RuneScape to tabletops later this year. The MMORPG will be getting not one, but two new tabletop versions: a board game and a tabletop role-playing game. According to the official announcement from Steamforged, players will “craft and upgrade equipment, upskill their characters, cook special recipes, engage with NPCs, and test their skills while exploring different regions of the world”. Just as with the MMORPG, players will also come across side-quests to flesh out the game’s world.
