It is currently unclear who the next characters will be to debut in Marvel's Avengers. Established characters from the MCU would be a fair estimate to make because Marvel's Avengers could tie them to cosmetic skin adaptations in the Marketplace, and fan arguments have been made that suggest future characters will be similar in scope and gameplay to characters that are already part of Marvel's Avengers' roster.
Rumors about certain characters have been around since Marvel's Avengers' initial release and promise of subsequent, free DLC. Word has bounced around about the potential for a She-Hulk in Marvel's Avengers, for example, and some fans still believe she is set to arrive sometime in the future at a date closer to when the MCU's She-Hulk series lands on Disney+. Recently, another rumor has swirled around the development of an entirely separate character who would also echo the same abilities as one of their male Marvel's Avengers counterparts.

Twitter user Miller, who has shared previous Marvel's Avengers rumors and leaks in the past, believes that the game is set to debut another «echo character» at some point in the future. The character in question is none other than Jane Foster's Thor, whom Miller seems convinced will appear in tandem with the release of the MCU's Thor: Love and Thunder this July. This would effectively mean that the character will release in or around four months, however, and the rumors of a Jane Foster character are to be taken lightly until concrete, official statements are made.
