Fashion label RSVLTS has expanded its range of pop-culture-themed apparel with a new line of shirts based on Capcom’s genre-defining release Street Fighter II. The new shirts feature designs that reflect the style, characters, and aesthetic of the 1991 fighting game that changed the industry forever.
There are three designs in the RSVLTS Street Fighter line: “Knockout Zones,” which features various World Warrior sprites against a collage of classic stages; “Super Combos,” which features stylized depictions of characters such as E Honda and Zangief set amongst input terminology; and finally “Art of Ansatsuken,” which sports a collage of Ryu and Ken in artwork recognizable from the Street Fighter II, Street Fighter II Turbo, and Super Street Fighter II series.
Each shirt features a button-down, short sleeve design, and is crafted from the company’s trademark “Kunuflex” material, which offers a snug fit with some give for fabric stretch. Available in sizes XS to 4XL, each shirt retails for $68 USD, not including shipping or any potential customs charges. You can check out the shirts and their designs, along with a detailed measurement guide, over on the RSVLTS website.
While they are all a little too brightly colored to be seen on yer favorite aging, gaming Goth, I will admit that I do like the “Super Combos” design — I dig that summery shade of green. In addition to the Street Fighter shirts, RSVLTS also produces clothing that features iconic brands such as TMNT, The Goonies, Marvel and DC Comics, and Star Wars.
