The upcoming Genshin Impact Version 3.0 will finally add a new main nation to the game named Sumeru. The new major update will also introduce the game's first Dendro characters: Tighnari and Collei.
The addition of a new element will have a significant impact on the game considering that Genshin Impact's combat system relies on triggering various elemental reactions. A video leak reveals a new type of team composition that focuses on one of the upcoming Dendro elemental reactions named Aggravate.
Genshin Impact Leak Hints At Version 3.0 File Size
In order to trigger this elemental reaction, players first have to apply Catalyze by combining Dendro and Electro. Dealing Pyro elemental damage to a Catalyzed target will trigger another reaction named Quicken and applying additional Electro to the target will finally cause the Aggravate reaction. This new Genshin Impact elemental reaction will grant increased damage to the Electro character, which is Keqing in the video. In theory, this seems like one of the hardest elemental reactions to apply on the battlefield but according to the video and numerous comments below, it's actually quite easy if the right team composition is deployed.
The party in the video features four different characters: Keqing, Fischl, Bennett, and Dendro Traveler. Multiple replies in the comment section claim that this elemental reaction could bring Electro DPS characters like Keqing back into the meta. Even though she was once considered one of the best DPS units in Genshin Impact, the majority of players have replaced her with a stronger damage dealer, mostly due to the fact that Electro is unable to trigger the strongest elemental reactions in the game.
