A new post on the official Genshin Impact Leaks subReddit has revealed more information about one of the upcoming permanent game modes. A credible leaker named merlin_impact has given additional details about a new TCG mode that should arrive in the foreseeable future.

The leaker has confirmed that there will be online matchmaking and weekly commissions tied with this game mode, but they will get unlocked after a player reaches level 2. The maximum level will apparently be set to 10, at least for the now. At the beginning of each game, players will need to choose their initial character and beat the opponent's characters in order to win. They will be given elemental energy at the start of each turn by rolling eight dice. The majority of the community seems very happy about HoYoverse's decision to add permanent game modes as the Spiral Abyss seems to be the only piece of end-game content at the moment.
Multiple replies in the comment section claim that once a player finishes all the quests that are limited for the update, there are not a lot of activities that can be done in the world of Teyvat, especially since the game runs on a Resin-based system.
