Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered mobile launch date revealed

A mobile port of Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered is almost here on mobile. If you’re excited to find out the Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered mobile release date, we just so happen to know it. 

Revealed by developer Square Enix, a port of the PS2 remake of the SNES game Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song is coming to mobile. Also launching on the Nintendo Switch, this beloved RPG is making its long-awaited mobile debut. 

With other Romancing SaGa games performing well on mobile, this new title will be another premium Android release. This marks the first time the original (kinda) game in the series has been playable on mobile. 

Explored in a trailer during the Tokyo Game Show, this version of the remake is a marked improvement over PS2. For example, HD resolutions are in effect, allowing the old game’s models to truly shine. 

Furthermore, the game’s audio is remarkably high quality. Of course, there’s also a number of quality of life improvements to enjoy now that the game is playable on a touch screen. 

You can currently pre-register for the game right here. However, there is no price tag attached to the title. Currently, the game is priced at $24.99 on Switch and PC. Will the mobile version also be this expensive? It’s Square Enix, so possibly. 

The release of Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered mobile is not surprising in the slightest. In recent years, Square Enix has heavily supported the mobile platform, bringing us fantastic releases every year. 

Hopefully, we’ll be able to see other games come to mobile. Personally, we’re hoping to see the likes of Triangle Strategy and OCTOPATH TRAVELLER (the console version) come to mobile with brilliant ports.
