Electronic Arts' latest EA Originals title is a joint project developed with Koei Tecmo and Omega Force, Wild Hearts, and the studios are now preparing to officially reveal a trailer on September 28. Wild Hearts is the two publishers' first major collaboration, and it's slated to provide a gameplay experience to rival the immensely popular Monster Hunter franchise.
Specifically, Wild Hearts is being developed by Koei Tecmo's Omega Force studio, which is otherwise responsible for the production of the publisher's various Warriors games, such as Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, and Hyrule Warriors. Electronic Arts' exact involvement in this project is yet to be quantified, but as the game is coming out as part of its EA Originals label, funding is likely a major element.

The fact that EA and Koei Tecmo are working together to produce an AAA monster hunting game has been known for some time now, but Wild Hearts' title was revealed only recently, with a proper showcase coming up later this week. Set in a fantasy version of feudal-era Japan, Wild Hearts is effectively a total unknown at this time, with the only major tidbits of available information being that it's supposed to be a premium triple-A title to rival the likes of Monster Hunter.
While there have been a few Wild Hearts teasers dropped by Omega Force over the past couple of days, they're fairly cryptic and mysterious, and it's a safe bet that the reveal trailer will provide more context as to what they meant.
