There are many ways to upgrade heroes, cards, and more in Roguebook. One of the many ways to get some easy upgrades to a party is to find Faeria Wells which can be found all over the map in all three chapters of Roguebook.
Faeria wells are an item that can be found hidden on the map of Roguebook. They look like a stone well that has a floating, pale blue orb above it. They can be found in any chapter map and even in Gem Mines of Roguebook. Players can upgrade the Orb of Faeria up to six times in one playthrough.

In order to uncover them, Roguebook players will need to use their ink on uncovered map tiles. On occasion, Rune of Sights will uncover them on the map for the player when they are interacted with. Each time a player finds a new Orb of Faeria, they will upgrade the one they currently possess.
When a player comes across their first Faeria Well in a new run or New Run Plus of Roguebook, it will give them a bonus to their energy levels. Energy is required to cast cards; each card has a unique energy cost in the upper left-hand corner. While hero teams usually start with only three energy, there are several cards and items that allow players to raise that number. The Orbs of Faeria are one such item.
The best way to find the Faeria Wells in Richard Garfield's Roguebook is mostly by good luck; players will need to uncover each of the two wells in each chapter in order to upgrade it completely to level 6. Thankfully, each level of the Orb of Faeria is useful, so players should go out of their way to pick them up every time they see them. Additional energy is a great way to defeat all the enemies waiting for players in this challenging deckbuilding roguelite.
