GTA 5 is packed with iconic missions that will live long in the memory, even after GTA 6 has finally arrived. However, one of the most memorable comes very early in the game. The one where Michael is tearing down the freeway, chasing after a truck with his stolen yacht on the back. What you probably don't recall from that mission are two other trucks flanking the yacht thieves. One on the left and another floating ominously above it.
The footage from the mission below does include those trucks. Neither of them moving conventionally, just pointed at the lead truck, hovering and floating along at the exact same speed. The clip comes courtesy of LucasIsPersonal (via PCGamesN) who took a deepdive into GTA 5's code and uncovered the trucks.

That's right, the two 18-wheeler cabins were always there, even when you played through this mission, you just couldn't see them. Nor are you able to touch them, as even when visible the truck sliding on the road can be seen clipping through other vehicles and anything else that gets in its way. So, there are hidden trucks in GTA 5's yacht mission. That's great, but why?
Well, since this isn't an official Rockstar reveal, we can only guess as to why. If you recall the specifics of the mission, you may remember that there are certain points when you can switch to a cinematic view. The viewpoints you're given of the mission at that point seem to be from the same spots as those hidden trucks. So it seems likely they're being used as camera mounts. Pretty smart if so, but that then raises another question. Why trucks?
