One of the premiere episodes of Harley Quinn season 3 allowed Joker to get revenge on Harley and Poison Ivy in an unexpected way involving Kite Man and a comedy roast set to music. The musical roast in itself was not surprising, given the Joker's natural showmanship. However, the effort Joker put into the scheme was impressive, even by his high standards.
The action of Harley Quinn season 3, episode 3, «The 83rd Annual Villy Awards,» centers around an awards show for supervillains, where the worst of the worst are dishonored annually for their efforts to bring down society. It's the sort of crass spectacle Poison Ivy loathes, but she agrees to attend for the sake of Ivy and Harley's romantic relationship after she and Harley are nominated for the coveted Best Couple award for supervillains who are partners in crime and love. While the title is meaningless to Ivy, she realizes how important it is to Harley to win so that she can publicly prove she's moved on from Joker and is successful in her new life.

Unfortunately for the two of them, Joker, who was acting as host for the Villies that year, had a plan to make the evening as uncomfortable as possible. This started with fixing the seating chart so that Harley and Ivy were sharing a table with Ivy's former fiancée Kite Man, whom she left at the altar for Harley in the Harley Quinn season 2 finale. It ended with a big Billy-Crystal-style musical number, in which Joker confessed to his scheme, singing "Harley Quinn with her new flame, I sat them next to, um — what's his name?"
