Voice chat arrives in Roblox — here's everything you need to know about Spatial Voice.

As fans were promised way back in March, Roblox now has voice chat thanks to a new feature dubbed Spatial Voice. But how does it work, and is it safe? Those are the questions you might be asking yourself today, and we’re going to try and answer them.
Spatial Voice is active in Roblox now, and players who have verified that they are over 13 years of age will be able to turn this Roblox voice chat feature on or off (more on that later).

“Spatial Voice is a feature that allows users to engage in voice chat within spatial voice experiences on Roblox,” the game’s official website has confirmed. Basically, then, it’s a way for players whose on-screen avatars are nearby to each other to speak using their real-life voices in the game.
“This feature is available for all users that are age verified 13 and older, the explanatory webpage adds. “13+ age verified users can opt-in to use this feature by visiting their Settings page. They will then be able to use Spatial Voice Chat in any Roblox experience that supports it.”
The Roblox voice chat release date turned out to be Tuesday 9th November 2021, with the developers adding the new Spatial Voice feature on that very day. If you boot up a Roblox experience that supports Spatial Voice, then, you should be able to try it out today!
