The Batman star Robert Pattinson is often a breath of fresh air among the rest of Hollywood's offerings. That's not to say most celebrities are vapid or anything like that (only some of them. It's not malicious, it's just who he is, and bless him for it.
Whether it comes from him endlessly bashing the Twilight movies even while still starring in them or creating his own short film about just wanting to find a New York hot dog (no, that's not a joke. Look it up, seriously), Pattinson's whole deal seems to be marching to the beat of his own drum. That quality came through yet again at the premiere for his highly-anticipated film The Batman. Donning an outfit reminiscent of a deflated David Byrne, he took to the red carpet with the sort of confidence the rest of the world should strive for, and he inspired some interesting comments from the unlikeliest of places.

After the Warner Bros. UK Twitter account shared a clip of Pattinson in his suit cloak alongside co-star Zoë Kravitz at the premiere, a collection of NBA fans swooped in to make a hilarious new joke while arguably beating it to death all at the same time. As background for those unfamiliar with NBA lore, in times of old (such as the ancient era of the mid-2000s), lots of newbie hopefuls to the league would wear baggy suits while being recruited to their respective teams. Hey, everything was baggy in those days. Suits might as well follow, uh, suit.
