Riverdale season 6 has officially cast actress Caroline Day as Heather, Cheryl Blossom's past love. Ever since its initial premiere on The CW in January 2017, Riverdale has been extremely popular amongst audiences and critics alike, with many praising the show for its wild and unpredictable plotlines. Season 6 is currently under way, and while some of its cast members have suggested the end could be near, Riverdale will return for a season 7 sometime later this year.
Riverdale is based on the characters of the iconic Archie Comic series that has spanned over eighty years and become a staple of pop culture history. This dark and modern twist on the source material sees Archie (KJ Apa), Betty (Lili Reinhart), Veronica (Camila Mendes), and Jughead (Cole Sprouse) navigate the dangerous atmosphere of the titular small town while coming into contact with criminals and monsters alike. Riverdale season 6 has brought things to a whole new level by introducing superpowers for some of its core characters; the series has also enjoyed a crossover with Netflix's The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
