Despite being in the middle of a break between seasons, Rick and Morty always has plenty of extra content for their fans' enjoyment, as proven by the latest spinoff to come out of the show, now made available by Adult Swim, The Vindicators 2.

The miniseries’ title is taken straight out of the fourth episode of Rick and Morty's third season, “Vindicators 3: The Return of Worldender," where Rick begrudgingly accepts to reunite with the superhero group due to Morty's insistence, although throughout the entire adventure it’s made sufficiently clear he doesn’t hold Supernova, Vance Maximus, or any of the other Vindicators in very high regard. During that episode, it’s also revealed that this was the third time The Vindicators had assembled, even fully ignoring Rick Sanchez one time, which is exactly what this brief spinoff will focus on.
