Crystal is currently in the thick of her second season of RHOBH, having first hit screens as a new addition in last year's season 11. The pair felt a little mismatched from the beginning, and a few moments between the two during their trip to Lake Tahoe solidified the tension. During a conversation surrounding racial stereotypes, Sutton became defensive and practically refused to discuss anything to do with race. When Crystal asked, "are you one of those people that you don't see color," Sutton broke down in tears. An important and refreshing message came from this discussion, and Sutton was able to gain more of an understanding of the insensitivity of that way of thinking.
Later in the trip, Sutton walked in on Crystal in a moment of vulnerability, and when Crystal described it as a "violation," the ladies fell out, and Sutton refused to understand what she had done
