When Crystal asked, "are you one of those people that you don't see color," Sutton broke down in tears. An important and refreshing message came from this discussion, and Sutton was able to gain more of an understanding of the insensitivity of that way of thinking.
Later in the trip, Sutton walked in on Crystal in a moment of vulnerability, and when Crystal described it as a "violation," the ladies fell out, and Sutton refused to understand what she had done
