There was no doubt that Crystal was a fan favorite as season 11 came to a close, after being introduced to the group of women by Kathy Hilton. Crystal came across as intelligent and logical, and often «played nice» with the other The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast members. The mother of two's run-in with Sutton Stracke set up some juicy storylines, especially after she revealed that she felt violated by the Georgia peach bursting into her bedroom. While their feud lasted several months, the two women are now on good terms, but that can't be said for all of the women.

Bravo viewers who once enjoyed watching Crystal on the small screen are now taking to Reddit to bash her. Many people feel that she is putting on an act to convince fans that she is relatable. One Redditor noted that her talking about shopping at the «outlets» and «joking about forgetting her AMEX» felt very different from the persona Crystal gave off last season.
