In 2021, Suda 51's No More Heroes 3 finally released, the sequel to 2010's No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, a full decade between releases. It was one of the Nintendo Switch's biggest releases in August, and it had been a long-time coming for long time fans of the series. The game also serves as the final entry in the No More Heroes franchise, with Suda 51 himself confirming that it would serve as the stopping point for the series.
Despite the gap between numbered entries, fans were thrilled to experience this action-packed game, along with the conclusion to the series as well. This includes flashy yet graphic action gameplay, plenty of references, swearing, and other adult themes. The game's protagonist, Travis Touchdown, faces off against a number of alien superhero boss fights in No More Heroes 3, which all offer a variety of gameplay styles. While the game was announced as a Switch exclusive, NMH3 will be coming to rival platforms later in the year.
