Nintendo has announced a new Pokemon Scarlet & Violet trailer will drop tomorrow morning, giving us just 24-hours notice to set our alarms. Those living on the West Coast will probably want to just sleep in as the trailer drops at 6 AM PT.
"You read that right, Trainers," reads the announcement on Twitter. "Tune in to our YouTube channel at 6:00 a.m. PDT on 6/1 for the latest on Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet!"

Announced last February, Pokemon Scarlet & Violet takes us to the ninth generation of Pokemon games. The three-minute trailer showcased gameplay that seemed heavily inspired by Pokemon Legends: Arceus, with an open world to explore and Pokemon meandering across the landscape.
The initial trailer didn't reveal much about Scarlet & Violet beyond a tropical setting with mansions surrounded by palm trees, male and female trainers wearing school uniforms, and the new starter Pokemon, Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Fuecoco. We know several classic Pokemon will be reprised in Scarlet & Violet, including Lucario, Psyduck, Magnemite, Meowth, and of course, Pikachu.
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is targeting winter, so tomorrow’s trailer might even narrow down that release window for us at the very least. Check back with the official Pokemon YouTube channel tomorrow to find out.
