Remnant II - The Awakened King DLC Launches with New Trailer
Gunfire Games celebrated the launch of The Awakened King, the first DLC pack for Remnant II, with a brand-new trailer.
The newly released DLC brings players back to the realm of Losomn, where The One True King, now corrupted by the Root, has reawakened and arrived in a Dran coastal town. The Root’s corruption has driven him mad and now he’s out for revenge against those he’s deemed to have betrayed him.
The Awakened King includes a new storyline replete with bosses and fearsome creatures to fight in the overworld and in a variety of new dungeons set in the world of Losomn. With all the new challenges on offer, players can also acquire powerful new weapons and items along their journey.
A new archetype, the Ritualist, is also playable in the DLC, though Gunfire Games are tight-lipped on how to unlock this new master of miasma. Figuring out the puzzle of unlocking new archetypes is half the fun, anyways.
Priced at $9.99 (or available as part of the game’s Ultimate Bundle) Remnant II: The Awakened King is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S and X.
